Making this kind of investment and getting less than the best didn't make much sense to me. After six years that was a decision I don't regret. I considered larger sizes but most material I had ever handled came in that size. Anything less and I knew I would be immediately frustrated. I was told by all to buy the most machine I could possibly afford. I got frank answers that I needed to hear. I asked about routers, software, and everything concerning routers. Then I racked up a BIG phone bill talking to router owners all across North America. I looked through my back issues of sign magazines and found work that was similar to what I wanted to do. I knew my investment would be substantial. When I was looking at a CNC machine the first time I spent months looking at every possible option.
